SUMMARY:February Euro Café in Leamington
DESCRIPTION:Following the UK’s decision to leave the EU in 2016\, we recognise that many EU citizens who have made their lives here have no longer felt welcome and have felt that they have been living in limbo. With Brexit having taken place on 31 January\, but with no deal on citizens’ rights agreed beyond December 2020\, for them the uncertainty continues. \nMeanwhile\, we are aware that many British pro-Europeans have also struggled with feelings of sadness and loss since the referendum. \nAs a way of reaching out to EU citizens and pro-Europeans locally we will be holding bi-monthly Euro Café events in partnership with Stratford 4 Europe. These will take place from 10:30m-12:30pm on the second Saturday of every month at The Townhouse in Stratford-upon-Avon and from 10:30am-12:30pm on the last Saturday of every month at All Saints’ Church in Leamington Spa. \nTogether is a wonderful place to be! \n
